Aldila shafts help PGA and Nationwide Tour winners post victories

POWAY, Calif. -- With the help of Aldila's VooDoo® shaft featuring S-core Technology™, the winner of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans notched his second career victory on the PGA Tour finishing with an 18-under 270 (65-67-71-67) en route to posting the lowest winning total at TPC Louisiana.

"The VooDoo's golf shaft stabilized core is designed to maximize distance and provide outstanding accuracy," said Stewart Bahl, Aldila's Marketing Manager. "Its innovative one-piece high modulus carbon stabilization rib runs the length of the golf shaft and keeps the shaft more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing. Because the golf shaft's symmetry is maintained throughout the swing, it loads and unloads more consistently, enabling players to more reliably deliver the club head to the ball every swing."

"The Hottest Shafts In Golf" also played a key part in the comeback victory of the South Georgia Classic as its winner used Aldila's VS Proto™ shaft to help earn his second career victory and move to sixth place on the Nationwide Tour Money List.

Aldila Golf Shafts maintained its status as the #1 Shaft on Tour by winning the wood shaft count on the PGA Tour by 29 more shafts than the next leading competitor and tied for the most shafts in play on the Nationwide Tour, according to the Darrell Survey. They also captured the hybrid shaft counts at the Zurich Classic and the South Georgia Classic.

Aldila is the leading name in graphite golf shafts: It won golf's Grand Slam in 2009, being the most used wood and hybrid shafts at every Major on the PGA Tour. For two years it has been the most played wood and hybrid shaft at every FedEx Cup Playoff event.
