‘The Hottest Shafts In Golf’ captures wood; hybrid shaft brand counts on Nationwide Tour

At the McGladrey Classic, Aldila had 13 more wood shafts and nearly double the amount of hybrid shafts in play than their closest competitor, according to the Darrell Survey.

Graphite Design Takes Another Golf Shaft Victory

Graphite Design, maker of some of the most widely played premium golf shafts on the PGA TOUR, announced today that the winners of the LPGA CME Group Titleholders and Alfred Dunhill Championship both played Graphite Design Tour AD shafts. In addition, two T2 and one T4 finisher at the Titleholders also played Graphite Design Tour AD shafts.

The winner of the LPGA CME Group Titleholders shot a 9-under 279 to win the LPGA’s final tournament of the year at Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Fla. The event featured a field of 59 players competing for a purse of $1.5 million. She played Graphite Design Tour AD shafts in her driver, 3-wood, and two hybrids. The T2 and T4 finishers played a variety of Graphite Design Tour AD shafts.


The winner of the European Tour Alfred Dunhill Championship at Malelane, South Africa, shot a 19-under 269 to claim his first European Tour title. His victory was the 100th South African win in European Tour history. He played a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7X shaft in his driver.

When $11.4 Million is on the line, the Champion reaches for Fujikura

The record-breaking winner of the Navistar Classic played Fujikura ZCOM SIX in her driver.
